Description View Changes

The US Forest Service, RMRS, Fraser Experimental Forest requires Snow Plowing services on an as needed per plow basis, at the Fraser Experimental Forest Headquarters (approximately 58,00 square feet), 4947 Grand County Road 73. Fraser, Colorado 80442. This shall be a firm-fixed price contract for 11 as needed plowing orders throughout the season with the option to extend services. Quoter must be able to respond and clear snow within 24 hours of notification.



A site visit will be conducted on January 17, 2023, at 9:00 am please contact Mr. Banning Starr (t) 970-531-1323 should you wish to attend.



Quotes are due 11:00 am (MT) January 31, 2022





Question: What size machine are we talking about?



Answer: Typically a truck mounted plow works for most of it. Once in a while a bobcat style blower would be good to push banks back



Question:Can I get a general idea of the amount of plowing i.e miless or yards of road and parking area.



Answer: It currently takes approximately One and a half hours to plow.



Question: Will there be another site visit?



Answer: No.
