Notice of Intent

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - West intends to issue a sole source contract to Cepheid for the Annual Preventive Maintenance of the Government Owned GeneXpert Infinity Molecular Analyzers. Cepheid has proprietary rights for all maintenance service, parts and repairs with the existing government owned GeneXpert System currently located at Evans Army Community Hospital, Fort Carson, CO.

The sole-source contract will have a period of performance is 3 January 2023 to 2 January 2024 plus four option years. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 811210, Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The Small Business Administration's size standard for NAICS 811210 is $22M.

The solicitation number is W81K00-23-Q-0017 and is generated for the purposes of posting this notice of intent and the final Justification and Approval (J&A) document. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All responses received, to include capability statements, within 5 days of the posting of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete the interim purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No telephonic inquires will be honored.
