1. SCOPE OF WORK.

1.1 Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, labor, transportation and supervision necessary to reconnect existing SIEMENS telecommunications consoles in room 170K, building 730, Alternate Command Post, Buckley SFB, CO 80011. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with product manufacturer’s recommendations and industry standards and meet all municipal, state and federal codes, standards and guidelines. The Contractor will ensure all work will be IAW UNIFY/SIEMENS standards as to not void the existing maintenance warranty.

1.2 For this project, we require the following to be met:

• Completely reconnect ALL UNIFY/SIEMENS telecommunications equipment (which was removed from B429 and stored) in the new Alternate Command Post located in B730, Rm 170K


• Target dates of service are DD MMM YY in order to meet required operational timelines

2.0 Agency Needs:

• Unify/SIEMENS telecommunication equipment was removed from previous facility and stored until a new facility could be constructed. The new facility is complete and this equipment must be reinstalled in order to render the Alternate Command Post operational. The equipment is part of the telecommunications network used by the SBD 2 Command Post to provide Command and Control to Buckley Space Force Base and 14,000 joint service personnel.
  
  This equipment is covered under an existing service contract. All work must be completed by certified Unify/SIEMENS personnel in order to maintain equipment warranty and maintenance contract.


• Coordination and management of all products/equipment and people required to reconnect the existing SIEMENS telecommunications system within an Air Force location. This includes ongoing servicing of any items defective due to disconnection or reconnection error as well as for replacement or repair of any damaged item during the disconnection or reconnection.
