This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR

Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes

the only solicitation; quotes are being requested. The solicitation number is W911RZ-23-Q-0022. This solicitation

document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC)

Fort Carson intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract to rent 4 x 35K Forklifts that will give the 2-4 SBCT the

capability to move containers and other large heavy objects, as part of a training and deployment preparation

requirement. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 532490 –

Other Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing, size standard $35,000,000.00. This

requirement is 100% Small business set aside. See the attached Performance Work Statement for full requirement

details.

The contractor will provide the following for the site as described below: The contractor shall provide 4 x 35K

Forklifts to customer coordinated locations at Fort Carson, CO. The Contractor shall ensure equipment is delivered

with all necessary original equipment parts IAW the operator’s manual and have a full tank of diesel fuel. See PWS

specific information and itemized list.

Salient Characteristics: See PART 5 SPECIFIC TASKS of the PWS for more specific information and cleaning

requirements. The equipment shall be cleaned in accordance with the standards outlined in the attached PWS and concept plan.

The Contractor shall submit pertinent information for the following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN). Include

sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in this solicitation, any discount terms, cage code, UEI

number and size of business.

This solicitation will close at 11:00 AM MDT on 17 March 2023. Quotes received after this date and time will be

considered late in accordance with FAR 52.212-1(f) and will not be evaluated. The Contracting Officer intends to

make an award without discussions; however that does not prevent the Contracting Officer from holding discussions

if it is in the best interests of the government. All quotes must reference and acknowledge all amendments posted to

this solicitation, if applicable.
