Description
BLM-CO Durango Trail Head Fences

This is a presolicitation notice for a soon to be released Request for Quotes (RFQ) to construct fences on public land near Durango, CO. No quotes or proposals are being accepted at this time. This notice is just to let prospective vendors know about the project, start preparing technical responses and ask questions. Expect the full solicitation to be released in the next couple of weeks with a closing date of 15 May, 2023.

Rough Order of Magnitude: The Government estimates this project to be between $25,000 - $100,000.

Pre-Bid: A hosted site visit has been scheduled for May 10, 2023, 10:00 am. Meeting point: Sale Barn Parking Lot, Durango Colorado (latitude 37.223878, longitude -107.856603). Pencil in on your schedule if interested. Sites are on public land and close to the city. You can certainly check them out for yourself if conditions are agreeable.

Socio-economic status: The BLM has contracting goals for various categories of vendor socio-economic status. All categories e.g., WOSB, SDVOSB, Small Disadvantaged, HUBZone, Native American Owned and Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE) are encouraged to bid on this project.

SAM Opportunities Training: If you would like a short video tutorial on utilizing the SAM Contracting Opportunities search and notification tools, email the POC with your request. I generally host these one hour classes on Friday mornings at 0900 MT. It will make your time on SAM.gov more productive and efficient.

Project Description: Furnishing labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to install one new steel pipe gates, pipe and materials for metal fence and all materials for a buck and pole fence. See Attachment 1 for more information, locations and drawings.

Performance Dates: May - Nov 2023

Project Location: Grandview Ridge, Sale Barn Trailhead and Big Canyon Trailhead, Durango, CO.

2. Bid Bond - 20% of bid price
3. Technical Response - detailed and tailored with your qualifications, experience, plan of operations, schedule, safety plan, personnel, supplies and equipment to perform this specific work in the required period of performance. A generic or boilerplate response without details will be determined unacceptable. Include at least 3 contactable references who can attest to your responsibility in performing recent and relevant projects of similar size and scope.
