The Work of this Contract generally consists of road improvements to SH257 and Eastman Park Drive. Widening and fully reconstructing the intersection with concrete pavement, constructing a new traffic signal system, coordinating the rebuilding of the railroad crossing surface and railroad crossing signal system, and associated minor improvements described in detail in the Contract Documents.

This Project is Federal Aid Project STU M377-007 #21995 and shall have Davis Bacon Wages. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of the race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.

Projects on CDOT right of way require contractors to be on CDOT’s prequalified list.

The Town of Windsor has determined that Underutilized Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (UDBEs) will participate by contracting for a part of the work of this Contract. The contract goal for participation in this Contract by certified DBEs who have been determined to be underutilized has been established as ten and one-half (10.5%) percent.
