Description:

San Miguel County is requesting quotes from qualified structural engineers for fabrication of a steel deck/platform to support the installation of 12 jury chairs and 1 witness chair at the San Miguel County Courthouse in Telluride, Colorado.

Scope of Work will include the replacement of the platform base from a ¾” inch plywood to a metal support system (under the existing wood). The Jury chairs will need to be attached to the metal without the risk of failure, however, the scope of this project does not include drilling holes or attaching the chairs to the platform (attaching the chairs to the metal base will be the responsibility of the furniture provider).

Height cannot be added to the current plywood in place, due to the measurement of the steps, so the platform must be attached from underneath.
