FCI Englewood – Retube Boiler Site Visit

An organized site visit has been scheduled for 9:00 a.m. MDT, Wednesday, May 31, 2023. The site visit will be held at the Federal Correctional Institution outside Powerhouse of (FCI) Englewood, 9595 W. Quincy Ave., Littleton, CO 80123.Participants will be required to complete the attached BP-A0660- NCIC Check form and email to Mr. J. White’s attention at JX7WHITE@BOP.GOV.

Please include Re-Tube Boiler Project in the subject line.

The forms must include a cover letter indicating they are for the Re-Tube Boiler Project:

• Company name and list of the individuals from the company who will be attending.

• Phone number / point of contact for the company for notification of any NCICs that are denied.

All forms shall be filled out legibly in dark / Blue ink or typewritten and be submitted in a timely fashion to be received by Mr. J. White, on or before close of business on Friday, May 26, 2023. This will allow the Federal Bureau of Prisons ample time to conduct a limited background security clearance (NCIC) for all persons who will be attending this site visit and be allowed access to enter the institution on May 31, 2023.

Persons who are not deemed suitable to enter the institution will be contacted by phone as soon as practicable. No person will be allowed in the institution until a NCIC check is completed and approved. It is recommended, Mr. J. White be contacted as far in advance as possible. All prospective quoters who plan to attend this site visit are required to bring picture identification and your license plate number.

The following items are not allowed: all type of Weapons (including pocket knives), cell phones, blackberries, pagers, radios, cameras, laptops, tablets, drugs and alcohol.

Contractor will be permitted to wear jeans in the institution, however, shorts, green or Khaki-color clothing will not be allowed. The clothes will be proper and suitable for the services that are being provided. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow time for security procedures and meet in the Outside of the powerhouse of the FCI, no later than 9:00 am MDT. This will be the only site visit scheduled. This site visit is NOT MANDATORY.

Any issues or concerns expressed during this site visit, which are not addressed in the solicitation document, will be addressed in writing, and posted along with the original solicitation document.

Quoters who previously submitted a quote for this solicitation need only sign and return this amendment if they intend to have their quote considered as is. All quoters may submit revised quotes as they deem necessary.

The institution’s Facilities Department maintains a digital camera that will be utilized by FBOP staff to document the project work. The Contractor may request copies of these photos and may request that photos be taken for specific conditions. Cellular telephones equipped with photographic capabilities are prohibited.
