This was awarded from a synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constituted the only solicitation; quotes were being requested and a written solicitation was not issued. An RFI was publised in GSA eBuy for 7 days after sending it to 28 vendors and 3 vendors responded. An RFQ was submitted in GSA eBuy for another 7 days and was emailed to the 3 vendors who'd responded. Two (2) quotes were received but were considered unreasonablely high in pricing compared to the estimates received for the Requisition, so after soliciting first in GSA eBuy and receiving quotes, it was solicited in SAM.gov for another 7 days and nine (9) quotes were received. All products meet the technical capabilities and the decision was made to award to the lowest of the 9 vendors, who also had a reasonable Delivery Date. This decision is considered the Best Value to the Government in terms of the factors stated above.
