NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

The 10th Contracting Squadron, 8110 Industrial Dr, USAF Academy, Co 80840 is contemplating a HUBZONE Sole Source award for Silvicultural Services to Bell Forestry, 205 N Murray Blvd Lot 17, Colorado Springs, CO 80916. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Blanket Purchase Agreement.

The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 115310- Support Activities for Forestry and the size standard is $10M. The Service Code is F014- Natural Resources/Conservation- Tree Thinning.

This requirement is Silvicultural Services including, cutting trees of size and species and disposal of slash, pruning all accessible dwarf mistletoe infested branches from designated Ponderosa Pine of various sizes, and marking trees with "Cut" or "Leave" designations. The requirement also includes collecting data by conducting Forest Stand Exams and Forest Health Field Surveys. Field surveys are conducted to perform comprehensive inventories of specified areas, plotting beetle-infested trees and other forest health concerns. All trees and services are located on the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) and Farish Recreation Area.

Any HUBZone offerors believing they can provide the required Silvicultural services, with all of the features and functions of the requirement described above, may provide evidence for consideration. Evidence must support the offeror's claim they can provide this service and are a certified HUBZone company. All qualified sources may submit a response, which if timely received, may be considered by this agency. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement can be conducted. A determination to compete this proposed procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received no later than 1200 Mountain Time on 23 December 2022.

The Government will not pay for any information provided under this announcement.
