Description
BLM-CO - Woodland Raptor Survey

This is a presolicitation notice for a soon to be released Request for Quotes (RFQ) to conduct a woodland raptor broadcast survey on BLM Public Lands approximately 18 miles north of Dolores Canyon, CO. No quotes or proposals are being accepted at this time. This notice is just to let prospective vendors know about the project, start preparing your technical response and ask questions. Expect the full solicitation to be released in the next couple of weeks with a closing date of 31 March.

Pre-Bid Conference Video Call: A virtual pre-bid conference call has been scheduled for March 21, 2023 at 10:00 AM MT. If you are interested in knowing more about the project and speaking directly with the Project Manager and Contracting Officer before submitting a quote, please email the POC with your request, capabilities narrative, SAM UEI, and Socioeconomic category. I will then end you a calendar invite for the meeting.

Project Description: Broadcast Survey for Cooper's Goshawk and Sharp Shinned Hawk once during nestling and once during fledgling separated by at least 7 - 10 days.

Performance Dates: First Survey (Nestling): 1 May - 1 June. Second Survey (Fledgling): 2 June - 7 July), Final Report due: 31 July.

Project Location: Dawson Project Area - BLM Public Lands near Egnar, CO

Basic Contracting Requirements:

1. Active Registration - www.sam.gov - at the time responses are due. Please check your registration now and update if needed. Be advised SAM updates have been taking longer than they used to due to the transition away from the DUNS number as your unique identifier and validation issues. A generic or boilerplate response without details will be determined unacceptable. Include at least 3 contactable references who can attest to your responsibility in performing recent and relevant projects of similar size and scope.
