WRFO 2024 CRI, 5006 acres

Amendment 0001 is issued to answer questions received about the solicitation.

Q1. Would BLM be amenable to dividing the project into two field seasons? If yes, would a report focused on the field tasks completed in each field season be required or would the scope still include a single comprehensive report?

A1. The BLM is looking for the field work to be completed in the summer / fall of 2024 due to several projects that are scheduled to be implemented in 2025. If the contractor wants to split the field portion into separate chunks, that is up to them. As long as the field work is completed in 2024 AND in time to complete the reporting timelines, it works for our timeline.

Q2. May an offeror propose an alternate milestone payment schedule for payment of the field effort?

A2. An offeror may propose an alternate payment schedule but not an alternate work milestones schedule.
We understand that there are a large number of acres. With regards to the field work the most we will pay for the conclusion of field work is 35% but the offeror may propose breaking down that 35% into two separate payments: for example 20% when the contractor is halfway through the field work and the other 15% at the conclusion of the field work.
Q3. Would it be possible for BLM to provide the shapefiles during this proposal phase to ensure offerors are able to provide the most accurate pricing?

A3. Yes. The files are attached to this amendment. If you cannot download the file from SAM please email the Contract Specialist at lstjohn@blm.gov to request it be emailed to you.
