Background:
NIST's Applied Physics Division requires a turn-key, stand-alone wind LIDAR (light detection and ranging) system to acquire 3D wind fields. This data is needed to combine with concentration measurements determined by Differential Absorption LIDAR (DIAL) to determine mass flux. Mass flux cannot be determined without an independent measurement of 3D wind fields. This procurement is to support NIST's funded research initiative on "Greenhouse Gas Measurements" and to address major measurement challenges in the development and application of novel laser-based techniques to study the emission of greenhouse gases.
Please review the attached RFQ and Statement of Work for specification and submission requirements.
Questions regarding this RFQ must be sent to the Contracting Officer, Aaron Ritter, at aaron.ritter@nist.gov no later than 10:00 am (MT) on June 9, 2023.
All offerors shall submit their quotations to the Contracting Officer, Aaron Ritter, at aaron.ritter@nist.gov no later than 10:00 am (MT) on June 20, 2023.
