REQUEST FOR INFORMATION / SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS
The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is issuing this source sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in, and the resources to support this requirement for Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training. This is for the Rocky Mountain Regional Veterans Affairs Medical Center, located at 1700 N. Wheeling Street, Aurora, CO 80045. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 611430 - Professional and Management Development Training.

This is a request for information and sources only, which may or may not lead to a future solicitation! This is not a solicitation. This information is about Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training. Green Belt training will be completed for 20 employees for two years (40 employees total), a base year and one option year at ECHCS. The contractor shall provide the following training: This course will teach Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training by providing an understanding of the Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control (DMAIC) process and an understanding of how process changes can be implemented. The training will also teach about Suppliers, Inputs, Process, Outputs and Customer (SIPOC) diagrams and Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) elements like Cost, process, safety, and delivery. The goal is to gain an understanding of the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and how it is measured in different industries. This course will also teach participants how to understand customer feedback through the Voice of the Customer (VOC) and determine the requirements for their product. Participants will work to determine internal processes and what causes variation by prioritizing issues related to their product.
