Amendment 0001 is issued to answer questions received about the solicitation.
There is no change to the closing date and time for quotes

Q1. Is this Level I, II or III mastication?
A1. We believe this question is asking about levels of effort as described in an IDIQ contract unrelated to this solicitation, however under those IDIQ definitions this would be a 'Level I General Mastication - Percent cover of material to be treated is estimated to be between 0 and 45 percent total cover. Slope is under 35 percent.'

Q2. 'We have never quoted on one of these types of solicitation. Can you give me a heads up of what the quote would look like that you are expecting back, not pricing just a general format?' and 'Should the quote for RFQ 140L3724Q0025 include a technical proposal and bid schedule with references?'

A2. We don't have a specific format we require quotes be submitted in. Most vendors write up a narrative describing what equipment they have available, the employees they have to work on the project, and they also list past performance references. Often times they will include pictures of their equipment. With fuels reduction RFQs we are looking to see if you understand the requirement and will be able to complete the work on time. Your quote should address the EVALUATION criteria on page 4 of the RFQ, show an understanding of the SOW and show you have successfully completed similar work in the past.
