Description

The Joint Task Force-Space Defense mods 17 & 19 will require EMT conduit to be installed to connect mod 19 server room to two offices in the command section of mod 17. The contractor will need to purchase all materials to execute the project. Escorts will be provided by the government. Work hours are from 8-4 MST excluding federal holidays.

The contractor will install EMT conduit and all other associated hardware to span through the perimeter wall towards Mod 17. The penetration must meet ICD 705/STC 50 rating. J boxes can be installed at 90° turns if space allows.

The conduit will need to follow the path of the currently installed PDSM comm lines. The PDSM comm lines follow the path of the hallway towards the command staff. From there, the two comm lines split directions, terminating in two opposing offices. The contractor will install a J box where the comm lines split and continue the conduit to each of the two offices.

The conduit installed needs to be attached to the upright struts of the raised floor system using appropriate hardware. Also, the conduit shall be grounded and bonded as required by Schriever Air Force Base Instruction 17-201 (C4 Systems Configuration Management).

Additionally, pull string shall be installed along the entire length of conduit to facilitate cable install (cable install performed by Government Information Owner only).
