Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.





Project Summary: The USDA Forest Service, White River NF, requires environmental consulting services for revegetation and restoration activities for the Burke Martin and Butterfly/Burrell mines, abandoned mine land projects in Summit and Rio Blanco Counties, Colorado.



The Butterfly and Burrell Mines – is approximately 21 miles northeast of Meeker, in the Upper Coal Creek area of the White River National Forest in Rio Blanco County, Colorado. Local landmark includes the Wilson Park area.



The Burke Martin Mine Complex – is situated immediately on the west side of the Snake River approximately 0.6 miles above the Town of Montezuma on Co Rd 5 (Montezuma Road) in Summit County, CO. Local landmark includes the Town of Montezuma.
