THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE

The US Air Force Academy (USAFA), Commodities and Services Flight, 10th Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source contract for the purchase of a annual maintenance support plan to service an existing SLA ProJet 7000 System, manufactured by 3D Systems Inc.,

3D Systems, a large business, are the single source qualified to provide the required annual maintenace support plan, including software and parts needed to service the existing SLA ProJet 7000 System, manufactured by 3D Systems Inc.

THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR part 13.106-1(b) (1)(i). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice by the closing date and time of this Notice. IAW FAR 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a single source for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, the contracting officer determined the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.
