Taraflex install approximate order of operations:

  1. Provide Isolsport for the total project as it won’t be purchased by the Athletic Department.

  2. AD will purchase from Gerflor, one roll of grey Taraflex, pre-purchased by USAFA and shipped to your address, inspected for damage, and bring to the project on date of install.

  3. Replace current damaged sections with grey Taraflex Gerflor roll provided by the Athletic Department and shipped to vendor.

  4. Tear apart individual Taraflex lanes, take off temporary tape on the back, roll up and store the individual rolls in reverse order to place back down.

  5. Slice the two outermost lanes of Taraflex in half. Dispose of left over Taraflex.

  6. Clean wood floor below the court prior to laying out Isolsport

  7. Lay out Isolsport crosswise to Taraflex lanes, using the correct water based Gerfix Spray Adhesive around the perimeter only, to affix it in place. Follow the step-by-step Isolsport laying instructions that have been provided by Gerflor. (We will need one less lane of Isolsport from the original floor layout due to the chopping in half of the outer most 2 lanes on each side.)

  8. Lay out the Taraflex on top of the Isolsport according to the instructions provided by Gerflor, being very careful to apply the F49 adhesive correctly to avoid warping the floor above.

  9. Heat weld the seams according to the instructions provided by Gerflor and using the appropriate heat weld rod color across already existing logos when needed.

  10. Paint the game lines, repaint the main logo in the middle of the floor, and all letters on both ends of the floor in accordance with the instructions provided by Gerflor and in accordance with the paint color requirements from USAFA.

  11. Attach/Adhere edging to the wood floor, without long term damage, of appropriate depth to accommodate both the Isolsport and Taraflex depth along the two lengthwise edges.

  12. Installation to be completed no later than 21 JUL 2023.

The government intends to solicit a firm-fixed price requirements type contract.

Delivery is FOB Destination to USAF Academy, CO 80840.
