Description

The purpose of this is to allow for Call Orders to be placed against your BPA to facilitate the purchase of fuels management and forest health services.



Examples of the types of work included are cut and remove sawtimber, non-sawtimber and/or biomass; machine mastication; hand and mechanical cutting and piling of slash; removal of piled material; road maintenance and reconstruction. This is not an inclusive list of potential work items in future calls.



The scope of the BPA covers Federal and local agency lands within 150 miles of the boundaries of the Arapaho-Roosevelt, Black Hills, Pike-San Isabel, San Juan, White River, and Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre, Gunnison National Forests. Work may also be accomplished on private lands.



The types of Call Orders that may be issued include: (1) Integrated Resource Service Contract (IRSC) with required timber product removal; (2) Service-based IRSC that includes the option for Timber Subject to Agreement products to be removed when there is no required timber product removal; and (3) Service contract in which no timber product removal is included.



This BPA will be the primary means in which IRSCs, Service-based IRSCs, and restoration-based service contracts will be issued in the future.
