SPECIAL NOTICE
NRMJ10002300770SRG
*** National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Acquisition & Grants Office, Western Acquisition Division-Boulder, intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), with Denver Fluid System Solutions Inc. of Wheat Ridge, CO for the purchase of “see parts list for the Swagelok gas analysis fittings” below.
***The sole source determination is based on the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA), Oceanic and Atmospheric Research (OAR), Global Monitoring Laboratory (GML) requirement for the purchase of Swagelok gas components which are compatible with GML gas analysis instrumentation. Other brands cannot be safely intermixed and would negatively affect the critical purity criteria, would not mate with existing infrastructure and would not ensure safe operations of the gas analysis system. Certain Swagelok equipment and parts are only sold regionally through authorized single source vendors for specific locations. Denver Fluid System Solutions Inc. is the sole provider for this location of purchase by the GML.
Delivery is due by September 1, 2023 or sooner.
***This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation package is available. Such documentation will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to conduct a competitive procurement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
