Description

NASA has awarded the Measurements of Pollution in the Troposphere (MOPITT)Contract to University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) for the continued development and maintenance of science data generated from the MOPITT instrument on the NASA Terra spacecraft.



The contract action was not awarded competitively. The redacted JOFOC is attached.This is a cost-plus fixed-fee contract that includes a two-year base period and three one-year options with a total contract value of $5,994,813. The period of performance began October 1, 2023. The work will be performed at the contractor’s facility in Boulder, Colorado.Under this follow-on contract, UCAR will continue to provide the development and maintenance of algorithms for the MOPITT instrument on the NASA Terra spacecraft which was selected under the NRA in 2003.
