General Statement of Work

Denver Economic Development & Opportunity (DEDO) is seeking proposals from qualified organizations that facilitate solutions addressing commercial affordability challenges experienced by Denver’s small businesses with a focus on historically underserved businesses with legacy characteristics and neighborhoods that may experience more severe economic challenges.

Funded with $10 million in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds from the U.S. Treasury, this initiative will distribute performance-based awards to one or more organizations for the implementation of creative strategies that address commercial affordability challenges through transformational real estate initiatives and associated capacity building, technical assistance and wraparound services.

Application

• The proposal deadline is Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 4 p.m. (MDT).
• Any final questions regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing by Friday, September 1, 2023 by 4 p.m. (MDT).
• If necessary, DEDO will issue an addendum with answers to questions and any significant changes to the RFP by Thursday, September 7, 2023.
• Technical questions and technical support regarding the online application will be accepted until one hour prior to the RFP closing deadline and answered individually through the dedo.proposals@denvergov.org up until the proposal submission deadline listed in Section B.5 RFP TIMELINE.
• Proposals will only be accepted electronically via the application portal
