Summary

The Office of Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency (CASR) on behalf of the City and County of Denver desires to solicit proposals for On-Call Grant Consultant Services for CASR.

Purpose

CASR is seeking one or more qualified and experienced professional on-call grant consultant to provide grant application, grant writing and other grant related support to CASR staff. The office’s mission is to act with urgency to proactively mitigate climate change by advancing science-based strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions on a scale and timeline that align with the recommendations from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, cultivate resiliency in the face of potential climate change-related emergencies, secure an economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable city for generations to come, and ensure that the setting of goals and metrics and monitoring of results considers equity.

Goals

The goal of this work is to assist CASR staff with:

• Identifying high value grant opportunities
• Preparing grant applications
• Developing the project and budget narratives
• Providing financial and programmatic grant administration, and
• Educating and training on how to successfully apply for federal, state and private grants.

Application

• 7/07/2023: Issuance of RFP via BidNet
  • Proposals will only be accepted electronically via the application portal
• 7/21/2023: Any final questions regarding this RFP must be submitted via BidNet by 10:00 a.m. local time
• 7/27/2023: CASR will issue responses to questions via BidNet
• 8/28/2023: Final submissions due by 10:00 a.m. local time
