A voluntary Pre-proposal site visit is scheduled for March 7, 2024 at 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. Interested Parties are asked to meet at the James Construction West Open Space Property located at the northeast corner of Jay Road and Spine Road, north of Boulder. Access is on Spine Road on the west side of the property. The purpose of the pre-proposal site visit is to provide an opportunity for potential bidders to see the property prior to developing their bids. Staff will not be able to answer any questions during the pre-proposal site visit. All questions must be submitted via Bonfire prior to the RFP Questions Due Date.

The Boulder County Parks & Open Space Department, Agricultural Resource Management Division, is seeking proposals from qualified parties to lease the James Construction West Agricultural Open Space property. This property is recommended for organic certification and has grown fruits and vegetables in the past. It is currently planted in cover crops to increase soil productivity. There is a 5-acre buffer zone along the northern portion of the property that will be managed by the tenant for hay production.
