Bid Title: Motorized Stretcher for Coroner's Office
Category: Coroner's Office
Status: Open
Bid Recipient: Chris Heggmann

Description:

The Clear Creek County Coroner's Office is needing a new motorized stretcher for their second Coroner vehicle. The stretcher that is required for the truck has to exceed a certain height as the second Coroner's truck was designed much taller. A new stretcher is requested as the Coroner's Office personnel use their vehicles to transport bodies from Clear Creek County to Boulder County for autopsies which, removes the only functional Coroner vehicle anywhere from three to eight hours depending on the length of the autopsy. The Coroner's Office has also experienced a high volume of calls and has needed a second Coroner vehicle in some cases of double cases or more then one death at one location. In order for the stretcher to work in the second Coroner vehicle it must be able to go up to 49 inches or taller as well as be able to adjust the front pair of wheels as well as the back pair of wheels separately to be able to load a body safely.
