NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Delta County Sheriff’s Office is soliciting Request for Proposal to obtain proposals from qualified vendors to provide jail-based behavioral services to the Delta County Detention Facility inmates. These services must include a licensed mental health clinician to deliver in-person and/or telehealth services for incarcerated, post-incarceration and/or recovery support services, and Continuity of care and cooperation with a health care provider.
The main goal of JBBS is to ensure that inmates in need of behavioral health services are identified and provided with appropriate mental health services, with continued support upon release from incarceration. The JBBS program supports county sheriffs in providing evidence-based behavioral health services for inmates in jail. In accordance with the legislation, all funds are used to provide behavioral health services for adults with substance use disorders or co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. The program also creates partnerships for Continuity of care in the community for individuals needing services upon release from jail.
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to provide information to prospective vendors (hereinafter referred to as a Vendor or Respondent) for the submission of sealed bids to be considered by Delta County (hereinafter referred to as County) to provide jail-based behavioral services to the Delta County Detention Facility inmates. The County reserves the right to reject any bids, to change, add, or amend the specifications, to waive any informality, and to accept the Proposal that best serves the County's interest.
