Electronic Bids will be received by the Town of Frederick, Colorado (hereinafter referred to as the Owner), until 3:00pm local time, on March 5, 2024 for the 2024 Speed Radar Project - Frederick Speed Management Program through Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing.

Promptly thereafter, all Bids that have been duly received will be reviewed for completeness. The bidders list and submitted bid schedules will be posted to Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing.

The Agreement provides for the construction of the 2024 Speed Radar Project - Frederick Speed Management Program (hereinafter referred to as the Work). All Bids must be in accordance with the Contract Documents on file with the Town of Frederick. Copies of the Contract Documents, complete with Drawings and Specifications, may be obtained from Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing and the Town’s website ( http://www.frederickco.gov/Bids.aspx ) after 9:00am on February 12, 2024.

Prospective Bidders are invited to present their questions relative to their Bid to the Town Engineer. A virtual Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid conference will be held via Teams at 11:00am on February 22, 2024 at Microsoft Teams Meeting

All Pre-Bid questions should be directed to Jason Berg in the Engineering Department at jberg@frederickco.gov For security reasons, you must enable JavaScript to view this E-mail address. or (720) 382-5601. All questions will be answered and posted as addendums to the project. The last day for question is on February 29, 2024 by 5:00pm.

Bids will be received on a price basis as set forth in the Bid Proposal. No Bid may be withdrawn within a period of 60-days after the date fixed for opening Bids.

The project will coordinate with, and is to follow other pavement maintenance operations and is to commenced within 10-days after the Notice to Proceed. Completion of the Work is required as specified in the Agreement.

Bid Security in the amount of 5% the total Bid Price must accompany each Bid in the form specified in the Instructions to Bidders.

Within 5-business days of the date of the Notice of Award, the successful Bidder will be required to furnish Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Amount, guaranteeing faithful performance and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Agreement.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept that bid or combination of bids, if any, which in its sole and absolute judgment will under all circumstances best serve the Owner’s interest. No Bid will be accepted from any firm, person, or corporation, who is a defaulter as to surety or otherwise, or is deemed incompetent, irresponsible, or unreliable by the Owner.

No Bids will be considered which are received after the time indicated.
