Montrose County is accepting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the installation of cast-in-place (C.I.P.) Class D concrete for the Carnation Road and 5900 Road box culverts for the Loutsenhizer Arroyo. The project sites are located approximately 13 miles northwest of Montrose, Colorado. The installation of the precast concrete box culverts and associated earthwork will be performed by Montrose County crews. The concrete aprons and wing walls for the box culverts will be performed by a contractor per this bid package. All work is planned to be completed prior to the 2024 irrigation season.

For County asset tracking purposes, the project has been designated into two divisions: “Division A” and “Division B”. The project will be awarded to one contractor.

Division A: Installation of 105 C.Y. of Class D concrete for the Carnation Road box culvert, east of 6000 Road. The work will include installation of concrete wing walls and aprons, and ancillary work as shown and described in the Contract Documents.

Division B: Installation of 65 C.Y. of Class D concrete on 5900 Road, north of Banner Road. The work will include installation of concrete wing walls and aprons, and ancillary work as shown and described in the Contract Documents.

The successful Bidder shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and project coordination as necessary to complete all the work as specified, described, shown, and as otherwise required by the Contract Documents.
