San Miguel County, Colorado (“County”) is seeking proposals from qualified professional companies or qualified individuals to provide consulting services in support of the County’s employee benefits program. Interested and qualified consultants are invited to submit proposals until 5:00 PM MST, on Monday, September 25, 2023.
COMMUNITY OVERVIEW
San Miguel County has approximately 165 employees, which consist of 120 full-time employees, 10 elected officials, and various part-time, temporary, and seasonal employees. Full-time employees are provided the following benefits: medical, including prescription; dental; and vision.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
The Proposer chosen for these services will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

Provide multiple health benefits plans, plan providers, and comparison outlining cost, service and coverage;

Solicit and negotiate annual renewals of existing coverage;

Support Open Enrollment activities;

Analysis, recommendation, marketing, negotiation and placement of insurance and compliance, communications and administrative support; and

Prepare and provide the County with a report of the final documentation.
