San Miguel County is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide consultancy services to research, develop, and provide a detailed, comprehensive Continuity of Operations (COOP) Plan for the County and its departments and offices. The intent of the County COOP plan is to ensure the continued operation of County government and its services after a disaster or other event has impacted our area.
San Miguel County is seeking a consultant that can:

Develop and deliver a fully documented countywide Continuity of Operations Plan that can be utilized by County leadership to provide an overview of all departmental, agency, and office Mission Essential Functions and related needs.

Develop and deliver a fully documented departmental or office-level Continuity of Operations Plans for each department/office.

Develop and deliver training for County employees, including exercises capable of sufficiently testing and stressing staff and plan operations.
