Description:

INVITATION TO BID-

San Miguel County is seeking qualified companies to submit bids to remove and replace the gas boilers at the County’s Miramonte Building in Telluride, CO. Project replacement may be scheduled and completed between April 10th and September 15, 2023.

This February, the County adopted a Resolution to reduce the County government’s GHG emissions to 26% of 2010 levels by 2025, 50% of 2010 levels by 2030, and 100% of 2010 levels by 2040. To move this needle forward, we have adopted the 2018 International building codes, working towards net-zero energy use, installing solar energy and microgrid systems on County buildings, beneficial electrification in County facilities, and retrofitting existing county buildings with energy efficiency upgrades. The project also included new hybrid boilers in multiple County facilities. We need to consider alternatives to the current natural gas system to keep on track with our targets. Please provide clean energy options in your bid packet for the County to review.

The project consists of the Replacement of two existing natural gas boilers. (Current boiler information Teledyne LAARS, Model # HH0775MN20CCAKXX, Serial # M00F7781). The current sq ft of the space is 14,600 sq ft, covering two floors.
