Invitation to Bid
Sealed proposals for the Town of Breckenridge 0.125 MG Woodmoor 1 Finished Water Storage Tank Rehabilitation Project shall be received by the Town of Breckenridge, a Colorado municipal corporation, at the Office of the Town Clerk, 150 Ski Hill Road, until 3:00 PM, local time, on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. Electronic bids will be accepted at
websiteclerk@townofbreckenridge.com
. Bid opening is not open to the public and bid results will be communicated to the bidders. The Town of Breckenridge reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informalities and irregularities therein.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at 10:00 AM. The meeting shall be held onsite at 2985 Boreas Pass Road, Breckenridge, 80424. The mandatory pre-bid meeting will include a walking tour of the tank project site. The tank will remain in-service during the pre-bid walkthrough; access to the interior of the tank will not be provided.
The project primarily consists of providing temporary water storage; access road improvements; exterior insulation removal, lead abatement, surface preparation and exterior recoating; installation of new roof hatch and riser; installation of a new center roof vent and riser; installation of new exterior ladder and safety cage; installation of new exterior level gauge; magnetic flux leakage scan and interior floor plate repairs; new impressed current cathodic protection system; new tank mixer, and interior surface preparation and coatings.
A Bid Bond is required. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required of the successful Bidder.
