General Project Description/Overview

In June of 2023, The Town of Vail adopted Vail’s Stewardship Roadmap, a community-positive 10-year vision for a thriving visitor economy, that focuses on ensuring that tourism supports and works synergistically with local quality of life, the environment, and social equity. To begin implementation of the Roadmap, the Town of Vail is seeking a sustainable tourism professional to lead and facilitate the overall process and near-term actions for the next 16-20 months. This professional will work closely with the town’s environmental sustainability and economic development departments, as well as interact closely with other town departments and community leaders, organizations and contractors.

Responses, qualifications and approach to Scope of Work must be submitted no later than Dec. 20, 2023 at 5 p.m. MST
